Have used the vacmaster weekly (or more often) for over six months. Pros: Really like the compact size and lightweight. So far the cord return still works perfectly. Great suction and very quiet while in operation. To me, that is five stars. Cons: The tools that come with it. Really, who the heck designed them? The stick part of the wane is three small sections which feels like it is going to break each time you push forward. The floor attachment does NOT have a brush on the bottom - just a tiny piece of soft material. Unless you run directly over the dirt, it does not get sucked up. The hand dusting brush tool is okay but the bristles are short and hard - not something you want to use on wood or other easy to scratch surfaces. The other hand tool, utility nozzle with brush, that is to be used on steps or upholstered furniture is a joke. The small brush that slides on and off does NOT stay on. Without the brush, the plastic is rough and snags. The tools get a one star. Very glad I have hand tools from other vacs that fit. Redesign the tools and it would be a wonderful product.

Above all else, a great wet/dry vacuum has to have good suction. The other bells and whistles do not matter if it does not have good suction power. I was extremely disappointed with the amount of suction given this was a 5 HP vacuum (and given the reviews). I added the included bag that is supposed to provide "extra filtration" and it dropped the suction down to where it would barely pick up dirt on a wood floor. Everything else about the vacuum seems to be good quality and a good design. My wife wanted something small that had wheels that was a wet and dry vac, so we purchased this based on those traits and the high reviews. I believe this design loses some suction power because there is no seal between the lower case and the powerhead, so it is probably pulling some air in from the crack between the base and powerhead.

Just perfect! I'm in my 70's and it is a perfect size for me to lift, wheels roll really well, easy to maneuver, very sturdy.
I love the hose attachment for it screws onto the base which makes it secure, unlike some that just push in (and come out when pulling the machine around). Was able to clean my screened in porch, which was filled with pollen and dirt from the winter, without a problem. Sucked up the pollen and dirt first using the vac bag included then removed the bag and sucked up the water I used to wash the porch down. Hard work for an old lady, but this made it easier. But to make you aware, although it is a 4 gallon it only holds less than 2 gallons of liquid before shutting down. But that was OK with me because it was easier to empty the water out.

best shop vac ive ever owned. Ive had rigid, stanleys, and home depots bucket. I like the home depots bucket vac but its loud. This one is super quiet! and its got great seal from the top motor to the bucket. Is capable of having 3 filters, bag, mid filter, and hepa at the end. When using it to suck up water, take out the bag and midfilter and use the foam filter!

Nice vacuum. very light. it was easy to put together..I bought it for my gym and it dies its job well. The attachments are a plus
