I have been suffering from a herniated disc, and this brand of ice packs has saved my life. They freeze up really well and quickly. I have about 5 use them interchangeably 3 times a day. Only downside is that after months of use (which let's, be honest is pretty good) they start taking longer to freeze. Maybe there's a mild breakdown in the gel. Would still highly recommend!

Good size for foot injury (4.5 x 10.5), wraps around easily in a folded towel, and is better than frozen peas or an ice bag since the gel is more forgiving. Would recommend to anyone where icing is needed but can't have solid objects on the injury. It's lightweight too while the gel is still pliable.
Overall, a great value cold pack.

These are my favorite gel packs for a number of reasons: first, they get really cold in the freezer after a few hours and retain the coldness for around half an hour, and two: they don't have any strange smell like some of the flocked ones have. I use these with a washcloth or a piece of soft fabric around them, but they also come with a black perforated sleeve made of a lightweight material. I just find that the pack is almost too cold with the sleeve it comes with, but for those looking for maximum coldness, that would be a plus. Sure, they don't last forever, they can start to fray a bit after maybe six months, but given the low price and cold retention they can't be beat. Overall, a great value cold pack.

I've used these for years now (at least five years), and I feel like they've saved my life or at least my sanity. I suffer from chronic migraines that stem from a bad neck. Originally these were great to wear on my head, like a crown or over the eye affected by the migraine. The cold numbs it, and it got me through some tough nights working during graduate school. But then, I realized my neck was getting worse. It's to the point that I can't work out anymore or my neck will trigger a migraine. So, I've started wearing them around my neck while working out and then another one for after (thank you for offering the Velcro case, so I can actually wear it). It's really the best cure; medicine doesn't even help this much.

I needed to have a second gel pack for my Caldera therapy head wrap. This fits the bill. This system really helps my migraines. It's a relief where before there was very little. You can't take more than 4 Imitrex (safely) in a month and no more than 6 Ibuprofen (safely) in a day. That means I get 1 Ibuprofen if I have already taken my quota of Imitrex. This therapy wrap was heaven sent. It cools the fire and eventually the pain significantly decreases to where I can function.
