This actually works better than I imagined

This was my first attempt at using an electric grill. This actually works better than I imagined. Foods cook well and cleanup is a snap. I have made burgers, chicken, sausage, and all have come out great. I do use wood chips in foil under the heating elements that give a light wood smoked flavor.The grill does take a but to get to temperature and foods do take a little longer to cook but the tradeoff for being able to grill on an apartment patio than in the grill area is worth it.

The first grill was returned unused because the lid had missing paint. The replacement grill does not heat up. I did not know this and destroyed the shipping carton. How can I return it without the packaging? I do not want another one of these grills.

Would have given 5 stars but, peeling off a large sticker on the lid was a pain! Why place a sticker on lid saying Electric? I knew it was electric when I bought it. Just cannot understand why these companies place stickers on items. It would be better if the electrical cord with temp control could be detach it from the grill. Other than that it was very easy too put together and very nice looking. Have not tried cooking on it yet but, will add more after I use the grill a few times.

Within 3 months of purchase, the temperature knob no longer worked. It never really got hot enough to do a proper sear. I was fine enough for hamburgers and chicken, but for tuna or steaks, I really would prefer something with higher heat. It was ok while it lasted. I would not purchase again.

It even came with a grill cover. Beats having to purchase gas.coal. Great grill for a smaller cookout.
