My daughter is two now and has had this mattress from day one. It has held up wonderfully (even since she's discovered jumping on the bed). I would recommend to anyone!

My baby has been sleeping comfortably on it for 2 months now. It is firm and fits beautifully in his Ikea crib. Changing sheets too is easy as the mattress is not heavy and I can do it by lifting each side in turn and pulling the fitted sheet under.

I extensively researched mattresses before purchasing this one. I was originally drawn to the Naturepedic line, but many of the reviews said that it was lumpy and not worth the cost. This was by far the best reviewed mattress that I could find. I wanted something that was echo friendly, but also with springs to ensure that it was safe and firm for our baby. The mattress is firm and has no smell. It fits perfectly with no side gaps in a Stork Craft Portofino 4-in-1 Fixed Side Convertible Crib (the one with the changer attached to it) and all standard size sheets fit as well. This mattress is not the type of mattress that has the softer side for a toddler, but everything I've read says that having a softer side really isn't necessary down the road. The child will be used to sleeping on the firmer mattress. The product does say "Ecru Cover", but to be clear, there is no additional cover that comes with this mattress. It also says it's waterproof, but I don't trust that it wouldn't stain, so we bought a Sealy waterproof cover to put over it. The mattress is only slightly heavy, but I'm a small-framed woman and have no problem lifting it by myself. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because our baby isn't here yet, so we don't have anything to report in terms of how it holds up after it is actually used.
UPDATE: This mattress has been great for my now almost two year old. He does jump a little bit on it, but the springs are firm and he doesn't get very high. We just ordered it for our second child.
