this thing was a terrible tool. non pneumatic and cluncky. double shot nails and would drive a nail into its nylon base plate
Couldn't be more satisfied

Great product. Easy to use. I haven't had a single issue with this. It drives the nails in straight and tight. Also, with it being a manual model, I feel it drives the whole floor tighter.

At the very beginning, you need some time to figure it out how to fix it when the nails get stucked. Other than that I think it is safer than the ones with air pump. I only use it to install my own hardwood floor. It serves the need well.
and very easy to use

I've never done flooring before, and after installing 1000sq/ft of handscraped white oak I know that without this nailer it would not have gone so smooth. It's ridiculously well made, and very easy to use. Would easily purchase again and would highly recommend!
The one thing I would mention is be ready to REALLY hit it in order to drive the nail. I'm 6'2, 230lbs and a former college wrestler. The amount of effort to drive a nail in some cases was very difficult.

an appropriate tool for smaller jobs

I just installed 200sqft of 3/4in heart pine in my house with this, using 2in cleats. I did not find it particularly physically taxing, since I spent a lot of time cutting the boards and speculating about fitting the grain of the boards; as a result, it took a couple of easygoing days. The ease and speed of a pneumatic tool would have been an expensive overkill. There is a ratchet mode that allows driving the cleats with multiple short blows. I had to practice for some time before getting the gist of it, but after that nearly every cleat was driven perfectly. The two hex keys that came with the tool did not fit, but I did not need to use them anyway.
