I just spent a weekend installing a large bamboo floor and this nailer NAILED IT! Not a single misfeed, jamb or hiccup the entire time. So glad I didn't rent, but bought this gem. It will be doing the floors of friends and family for many years to come. Man I love good stuff!

Great nailer for bamboo. Its now my back up in case my pro nailer fails. primatech surfer rollers. 2x the speed for installing. But i still love this nailer for price and quality. if it had rollers id never got the primatech.

Just bought this to use on 1/2" engineered floor which required 18ga cleats so my standard 15 1/2 gauge 2" nailer couldn't be used. But not sure why but I have issues with the nailer splitting the floor or at least causing slivers to form. It does not look like dimpling. I have the pressure all the way down to 70psi and I still have issues. I have other freeman combo kits and love them. But this floor nailer is not doing it for me...

I bought this floor nailer to lay 5/8 stranded bamboo that has a janka rating 2800. As other customers have stated doing a couple practices will help ensure that you do not Top Nail flooring. Other than that once you get going it works really well. The only time I had partial nail/cleat downs where when I was along the wall and did not fully hit the plunger. Overall very well-constructed. I put a piece of tape along the bottom because the plate is made out of hard plastic and would pick up Grit and make small scratches. Great product and I would not hesitate recommending it to anyone that is planning on laying very hard flooring or bamboo. I had no problem getting it adjusted to the right depth for my flooring. I found it work best at about 85 psi on my 3 gallon Craftsman air compressor.

I used it to put in 800 sq ft of bamboo flooring and it never jammed once. Very happy with the quality.
