I liked this product so much I bought three more of them. Two for friends and one more for myself as a spare. I cannot evaluate this exact product because it did not work out of the box, but the other three are great, especially on a hard surface - wood or tile. They are not as good on carpet and don't work at all on deep pile. They seem durable, my first model is three years old and still going strong with almost daily use, I decided to buy a backup, this purchase, when/if mine failed. It arrived defective, one of the internal gears was broken. It did not work when I took it out of the box. I did not open it within the 90 warranty period (it was actually close to nine months).

My issue is not with the refusal to provide a fix but with the rude, non existent customer support. The first two calls resulted in a suggestion of how to fix it (which didn't work because it was for a different model) and a polite "sorry but it's out of warranty."

I followed up with four detailed emails between September and the end of November to the customer support department using their on line form and including attachments of the original purchase receipt from Amazon and three different pictures of the defective part, a fused and broken drive gear. The product was obviously never tested because it could never have worked properly. I received no reply, not even an acknowledge of receipt which I had asked for in the email. Finally, I called customer support asking for a supervisor. I was promised a call back which never came.

In summary the product works as described and proves to to be useful, but I cannot recommend it because Ontel, the distributor provides absolutely no customer support.

i was only able to use it a few times before handle was broke off, a fluke. I was hoping to fix it so I could keep it, be once again begin to give me trouble. It kept turning off on me and the battery was not lasting for very long. Was very disappointed with this item. It was also delivered in a box that was delivered a little beat up. I am sorry, I had hears so many good things about it.

It's a practical swivel but the quality wasn't so great.. the alyminium handle broke after a few months, the battery started making bad contact snd i had to wrap a tape around to make it work.. After a fee months if stopped working, i thought the battery had died snd bought a replacement but it acts like it's low in battery no matter how long i charge it for..
I would buy it again if I knew the quality improved because it's very practical, much more practical than any Shark or other swivels in the market..

This is our second swivel sweeper this year. The first is a far superior product because its trash collection tray is attached and pivots to dump. This recent sweeper is different - when the tray is opened, it (the tray) drops to the floor or into the trash. So the first is hands-free dumping but this one requires ones hands to get dirty AND causes one to align parts to put the tray back on the sweeper. Hugely inconvenient.
Yes, my older one gets a full "Five Stars", but this one is a huge disappointment. To be clear, I use mine every day, sometimes 3 times a day. Haven't found anything that works as well. It could be improved, but you're working too hard if you don't have one of these!

I love my swivel sweeper. I like to keep my kitchen floor clean and crumb-free. The swivel sweeper picks up quite a bit for such a small vacuum. I LOVE that it doesn't have a cord and that the battery can just be recharged. I use the swivel sweeper every day in the kitchen. It works great on hardwood floors but not as well on thick carpeting. It can't do the job of a heavy duty vacuum cleaner, but it is fabulous for keeping hardwood floors clean and tidy. Assembly is super easy, takes less than a few minutes. The swivel feature is great...makes it easy to get under some pieces of furniture and glide around the floor. Overall, I am very happy with the swivel sweeper!
