Great functioning and looking dispenser for a fair price.

I have the Casabella soap dispenser in my bathroom and love how this compliments this. As noted by other reviewers, there are no drain holes in the soap holder, so water can fill up in there. Grab a drill and make a few holes, and your problem is solved.
One issue I sometimes have is adding too much soap into the unit since I cant see it until is gets close to the top, and at that point it is too late and you either deal with overflow when putting the top on, or having to negotiate dumping soap from the dispenser back into the original soap jug. Most likely my fault for not paying attention, but none the less inclines me to rate 4 stars instead of 5.

Great for price

I love this soap dispenser! It's so easy to clean and holds up a lot better than others I have tried. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes I have to pump it a few extra times to get soap out, not a big deal for me but could be for others. All around a great product for the price.
I knew what I was getting

And still when you get it you are left with a feeling of "I wanted something better". That is my thing with this dispenser. It's okay, it's better than the one we had (that one looked better but broke all over!); but I wish they sold it in a different color. To me white is not a kitchen color...
The sponge is a joke! I hate those sponges... but I had my own so I just got rid of it.
And another review that said it doesn't have any drain for the sponge... well, to me that is a problem if you don't squeeze your sponge well enough before you put it away... to me that is part of "cleaning" afterwards. So, having said, the lack of holes to drain the water is not a problem at all.
The dispenser is pretty... white, but pretty and works well for my current needs.

Four stars just because the footprint is a little large. The only problem I have with it that other reviewers had is that it clogs a little; the soap that is. But only a little and it sort of self-clears upon use. I never have to soak it to clear it, and it never squirts a mess of soap on me, or anything. It dispenses a fairly small amount with each squirt which I think is for the better. If I need more, I just add squirts.
It is perfect for people who like to use a sponge and who keep their sponge rung out between uses. If you do that there is no pooling at all in the sponge container which I would hate. The soap container holds just the right volume of soap to last awhile and not so much that it is huge. Very close to 5 stars for me.

I wasn't happy with it, at first, and some of the negative reviews have valid points. The sponge holder does not have holes, so you have to think to squeeze the sponge out first, before putting it in the holder. Also the pump DOES shoot soap at a high velocity if you aren't thinking and you pump quickly.
BUT...I have yet to have a problem with any moisture in the holder, so I am thinking that they grey (and as far as I can tell, non-removable) liner in there must be able to breathe. I have not had a problem with the bottom interior of the holder getting nasty. If I put a sponge in front of the pump and press down calmly, I get just the right amount of soap to do the job.
It took me a couple of months to go from "this isn't really what I thought it would be" to "this isn't really what I thought it would be, but it actually serves my purposes well." I am considering getting a second one for the sink in my laundry room.
