This is my first experience with Vasque footwear. First off, I was very nervous about ordering shoes online and from an unknown-to-me-brand. Anyhow, feet are moderately wide and these fit great! Their comfortable but due to foot issues, I always change out the inserts with gel inserts, so their very comfortable.

Moving on. The soles are nice, not too stiff but not too loose. I use these for misc trails, walking around the house, and small hills. The lug design on these shoes gives me excellent traction. Over all, I love the fit, feel, and function of these shoes. I'm thinking about ordering a pair of their hiking boots for more serious hiking.

My hubby has been in need of a new pair of outdoor shoes for awhile. I honestly know little to nothing about hiking shoes but based on the great reviews I believe I made the right decision. I think they are a sharp looking pair of shows and he has had zero complaints about the comfort of them. They are nice looking pair of shoes that he wears to work almost every day. He takes them on his favorite trails several times a week and gets a lot of use out of them. He appreciates the rubber toe guard that lines the top of the shoe to help minimize potential bumps. The only thing wrong that I saw with the shoes is the liner was not flush with the side of the shoe. Hubby felt it for a few minutes but it was not enough to send the shoes back for. I hope he gets a lot of use out of them, but the price I paid for these shoes was really not bad and it looks like people agree with me about buying them from Amazon. I am a HUGE fan of Vasque shoes and boots. These do not disappoint. They are comfortable, stable, and rugged without being too heavy. I get positive comments about them, and when I tell people they're Vasques, they say, "Oh, Vasques. No wonder."
They're not only good for trails, they're excellent in snow up to about 4". I'd be a repeat buyer of these.

The Juxt is very comfortable right out of the box and provides support and great traction for light hiking. However, the design of the outsole traps dirt behind the ridges making them harder to clean and traction on slick surfaces like tile is poor.

I bought these shoes for their breathability and they fulfilled my expectations. They can't be as breathable as mesh athletic shoes but are breathable enough if you wear proper wicking socks. The downside to them being breathable is that they are strictly dry weather shoes. Any water goes right through the leather.

The shoelaces are too slick to stay tied even when I triple knot them. You'll want to replace the laces with textured round laces.

Really great hiking/outdoor shoe. Fits well and has not hurt my feet, even after 8+ mile hikes thru challenging terrain. I've hiked both coasts, blistering deserts and cold frozen forests and they have held up perfectly. Have received compliments on the shoes. Will buy again when this pair is someday worn.
