Sweeps up very well. It's a blend of horse hair and synthetic bristles, like the description states, the broom will hold its shape as well. For the price, you can't beat it.

A good value. The quality was better than I expected for the price. The broom is made of heavy durable hard wood. The broom handle is on the short side but fits very securely to the brush. There was some shedding of fibers at first but I think it was just left over loose fibers from manufacturing and is no longer a problem.

Handle diameter too big to screw into broom. I used a paddle bit to drill out the hole and used liquid nail to glue it in. Horse hair is dubious and feels partially plastic.
