easy to install

easy to install, I hard wired to fan. I put a three prong male plug on on end of short piece of 16/2 with ground wire cable and hard wired to the ventamatic. Temp setting seems slightly off.

Had 2 of these in my greenhouse since 2014 and have meant to write a review but it's only a problem spring and fall. Another reviewer said, "The differential is to great also does not start and stop the fan at the same temperatures regularly." And, I absolutely agree. I have to keep turning it manually on and off in those seasons. Come in, in the morning and it's way too hot, go to leave at night and it's cool but the fans still running. Delta way too wide...

Anthony V. Winig•September 23, 2017
I guess it's my own damned fault. It SAYS "FAN OFF" temperature on setting dial. I wanted contact closure on rising temperature to FAN ON, not not not fan off. Why would anyone want a attic power vent fan to TURN OFF on increasing attic temperature? Attics only get hotter, and then need fan to ventilate. And, shut OFF on falling temperature. Strongly suggest VENTIMATIC and Amazon state unequivocally in plain English - "POTENTIAL PURCHASERS NOTE WELL! - Fan STOPS at thermostat setting upon INCREASING TEMPERATURE and starts / runs continuously BELOW the setting temperature! NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES MADE IF THERMOSTAT ENERGIZED"

easy to wire and a very accurate temperature control. Worth the cost for a working product.
