Strong spring

Heavy duty spring for heavy fiberglass antennas!

I decided to purchase this after SS-3H "heavy duty" spring coupled with a 4ft Firestik antenna in back of my 3rd gen 4Runner started bending and swinging wildly, traveling at only 70mph. When I reached my destination I immediately placed an order for the SSM-3 spring and what a difference! The antenna never bent more than 5 degrees the whole way back, even with heavy wind gusts at times! Very pleased, HIGHLY recommended!
This is the spring you need.

This is a very strong spring. Holds my 102-inch whip securely. I previously ordered the ProComm Heavy Duty spring and immediately sent it back. It is not Heavy Duty. The spring was weak and allowed my whip to almost lay flat at 60mph. This spring holds the antenna almost vertical at 70 mph.
Good quality and comes with the stud which some springs don't.

Works great, went thru the snow and rain season without showing any rust so it's a good quality stainless steel. The spring has a 5ft Firestik antenna mounted on it and handles the wind well at 70mph, I would recommend this Hustler SSM-3 antenna spring and would buy it again.
