Extend's Yogurt & Berry snack bars are truly exceptional. Firstly, they're delicious. The yogurt topping is smooth and creamy, the fruit layer is just right (great flavor without the sickly sweet taste of other bars), and the nougat is smooth and clean in your mouth. It's hard to believe there's only one gram of sugar, from the fruit, with none added. There's a nice amount of protein and fiber too. For me, they're like dessert without guilt. Secondly, they work! They talk about controlling blood sugar, and they do. No sugar spike or crash. I use them for the afternoon 'blahs' and as a bedtime snack. Finally, they're not expensive. That's a real plus these days. I plan to try the other flavors.

I have diabetes and I like to carry these when I need a snack. They say they can work up to nine hours on your glucose that's not true maybe about three hours. I got the mixed box and if you can get over the first initial bite the rest of it pretty darn good. They're a little expensive so if you're trying to buy something on a budget, these are probably not for you. Like I said, they're pretty darn good.
