Great cutter

I purchased this to cut glass on fused glass projects. It has a nice sharp clean cut and is easily adjusted to the correct width.

Simply, this works. It's easy to use (after you build a jog.) I've been cutting strips of glass - some of which I had no luck cutting by hand with a regular glass cutter. This makes leaded glass fun.

works ok but the recommended board is to high and there is an angle you have to adjust for and for sure don't go by the ruler it is way off.
Would not buy this again

I wanted to like this better than I do. Am giving it 3 stars as I'm hoping eventually I will find it more useful, maybe it's tricky to use and I don't have a good technique. The main trouble I have is that it is so light weight that I find it slips around very easily resulting in a less than straight score. I built a plywood base for it, which was not too hard to do but the device itself needs some way to lock or camp it to the base. All in all I avoid using it and am still searching for something else.
Happy.

I made a guide with an old piece of formica table top and some wooden yardsticks. It's not easy to use without something to hold it in place. It does make glass strips and geometrics a lot easier than scoring by hand and makes for less grinding. I'm happy with it even though I had to do a bit of creative construction to get it to work just right.
