Just got done assembling. From reading other post on here about assembling, I seperated everything, labeled them the part number with stickie notes. All-in-all, is was relativly easy. The hardest part was come time to marry the front to the back with all the slats. Having a second person at that time made short work of it. Laying the back on the floor made this part easier. IMPORTANT. Noticed legs looked twisted. With especially the legs and side supports., the screws 'push' against the inside piece and move it away from the outer piece, causing the 'twisting'. Keep pressure on the screw until it penetrates the inner piece and slightly 'dimples' the outer piece. Careful, go slow here. The side and rear supports will not go in properly if they are not all the way tightened. Instructions wern't to bad, pictures could have been larger. Probably would have given it 5 stars exect for the assembly.

Sturdy. Easy to put together. Will last a long time

So, I read a lot of negative reviews about the assembly of this potting bench, but I figured, what the heck. I had just put together a hardwood futon that was a real challenge and figured I was ready.

When you first take everything out of the long, skinny box, you are at first completely overwhelmed. There are just so many pieces/parts. But, then when you look at the instructions, it really isn't all that bad. The worst two part are when you have to "tuck" in all the bottom slats while connecting the back and front and attaching a bracket to the top shelf. (I now have a lovely hole in my thumb from screwing on that bracket I know, let the tool do the work!!)

Anyway, it maybe took me 90 minutes over a couple of days to put it together, and my wife is quite happy with it. So, just take your time, follow the instructions and the wife points will be yours

I wanted a no maintenance potting station that could withstand midwest weathers - but not many pvc options. This worked, but with the following upgrades - My husband added wheels and sink basin. I didn't want any additional height (wheels added 3"), so cut 3" off legs.
Both the wheels and sink were purchased off Amazon. I also plan to install a drawer (under left side, work station) to store tools.
Note - To install the wheels, you need to add small piece of wood (2" square) inside hollow legs.

It is easy to assemble, If you have a second set of hands - if not, it takes some finagling.

Pain in the BEEP to assemble and we are not incompetent people! Terrible instructions , parts are not labeled...this would make easier. You need a rubber mallet at the end of assembly. Bottom slats pain in the beeeeeep to get in there BUT worth it! I knew this going in but likes the look of bench so I decided to take on challenge...so worth it! Love it! Nice and sturdy and pretty in backyard corner . Plan a lot of time when you try to build it
