They, like any plate can chip, or chip the glazing. But, it takes a good shot. Actually just got one but was the glazing down to the white base plate material. However, not concerned with it proceeding from there on it's own.

In my area, it seemed less expensive from Amazon, rather than in store too.

However, -- it seems shipped in it's OEM Boxing. I guess that's enough, none broken. Nevertheless was surprised not second boxed. If chucked from the delivery van, actually, --I guess it could survive. So, just saying, since part of this purchase was to see if plates would arrive as a 16 piece, or a 10016 piece set ;)

They are nice, but not as premium as the pictures would imply.

I retook the advertised photo in a real world setting so you can see the actual quality of what is recieved. Unfortunately, as you can see its almost like you get the knock off of what you ordered. I still like them, but it's unfortunate.

Received mine today, like the color and the quality. Dinner plates were bigger than I pictured, didnt bother to really pay attention to size when I ordered, not disappointed just bigger than expected. One of the coffee cups has a small white fleck (chip) around the top of the rim. Not a deal breaker but if any quality control, should have easily seen it and replaced before filling the order. Heated up some coffee in the microwave and the cup was cool to the touch and coffee hot, just the way I like it. Gave a negative review on shipping since the bottom of the box (or top) was poorly taped and tape was at an angle and since it missed one side of the box it was partially open to the box inside. No damage, someone got lucky.

Heavy, thick China,mic and oven compliant. Brilliant color ! Would recommend to family and friends.
Update: Was hesitant to purchase cause of some neg reviews.... These turned out to be false. Had set about a month, use of it every day..And it is just as
nice as day one.
Update: Still nice, no chips, everyday use.

I bought these dishes and was so excited about the purchase. We have been wanting this kind of dish set for a while, so I was very happy to find the blue set for only 35 bucks! Well, after about a week of using them I realize why they were cheaper..... I've had two of the small plates break while using them at dinner, on two separate occasions. It's like the fork/knife hit the plate wrong and it happened. Or maybe it's just very bad luck.

The shipping was quick, packing was great and they look amazing coming out of the boxes. I need to obviously buy another set to have more than 4 dishes, but I am scared to purchase this same brand. We will see....
