These dishes are cheerful and enjoyable. They aren't too heavy like some stoneware can be. I haven't had them long enough to properly gauge durability, so I left that rating blank (so far, so good). They've handled the microwave well compared to our old dishes - sometimes the old dishes would get entirely too hot to handle. The red-orange edges are a little more dominant in the color scheme than I expected from the photos. That's okay with me but might not work for someone else. All in all, we are very pleased with these dishes and think they are a terrific value for the price!
one mug defect

Shipping was good and there were no cracked dishes but one of the mugs has a defect at the lip where you drink from making it useless. The defect looks like a drop of ceramic was pulled off and left a rough sharp edeged dimple with missing paint. Who do I call to get a replacement.
Update I spoke with customer service through the Amazon Chat and they said they would send out a replacement right away. I have to ship back the defective piece and all is well. Amazon customer service is great the dishes were good except for the manufacturing defect so minus one star.
