Double 00 flour is da bomb
DaveDave✓ Verified PurchaseApril 30, 2017
Double 00 flour is da bomb for homemade pasta. I used to have to smuggle this in by mule but now it's on Amazon.
I also put dough in fridge for next day use as well although it is always best on day of being made

I use this to make pizza dough using their recipe for the ratio of ingredients. I throw in bread maker on dough cycle and you are ready to go. I also put dough in fridge for next day use as well although it is always best on day of being made. I cut the recipe in half and it makes enough dough for 2 med pizzas. fornobravodotcom/PDF/Using-caputo-tipo00.pdf
The only flour I use now!

This is the best flour you can buy! This is the only flour they use in Italy to get that perfect crust. I basically use this flour now for everything and only keep a small bag of all-purpose flour in the house for those rare occasions I want to use it.
Haven't stopped using this on my italian treats, and bought a 10 pack!

The product itself helps me make amazing pizza, cannolies, biscotti, and other italian treats. It really does make a difference when making italian desserts to use this, as it absorbs less water and ends up rolling out thinner.

End result ends up much lighter in comparison to all purpose flour.

Only con is that you can usually get it cheaper if you find a local european grocery store (about 2.50 to 3$ per bag)
Made great pasta! Will keep eating...oh, I mean testing!

I never have time to shop, so getting specialty items shipped to me is great. I haven't researched these flours too in-depth and so there is likely some folks who have a better recommendation, but this made great homemade pasta and looking forward to using it again!
