Effective switching tool when amp only has one port and preamp adjustment

I have a semi-hollow guitar which has two outputs, one for a piezo bridge pickup (acoustic) and one for the humbuckers. I tried a passive ABY box to combine the signals but as I suspected that did not work satisfactorily. I knew what I needed was a two channel mixer. This is the perfect solution.

Order the Morley 9v power supply to avoid buzzing. I tried a non-Morley 9v 300ma and it buzzed like a crop duster. It will not buzz with battery power, but you will need a lot of batteries since this does not have an on/off switch, and the battery will last about 2 days.
The Morley power supply is vewy qwiet. The ABY is great once you do this. Love it.

Solid ABY with (almost) Everything

If what you need is an ABY box, this is a very good choice ... the added feature of having separate input levels for each instrument is key to success if you are planning on having 2 instruments coming in ... secondly, this unit is about as noiseless as it gets ... there is plenty of boost factor if you need it ... you can hit one amp or 2 ...
This box almost does it all ... the one thing I wish it had is the ability to bring 2 instruments in and isolate each to its own output ... that would give the ability to, say, have an acoustic and electric guitar that could be volume controlled from this one unit but go to dedicated amps ...
For most, my preference for that feature won't be in view so if you want a very well-designed, quality ABY box, it is hard to imagine a better one than this Morely for the price ...
