Renaissance Wax Polish
SJK•October 2, 2017
This Renaissance wax has worked very nicely on the wood stocks and blued barrels of my rifles and pistols. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly leaving a very thin coating that can be wiped down and buffed to a shine in what seems like just a few seconds after application. I was able to easily remove any minor wax residue left within tiny crevices using a clean, soft bristle tooth brush. The thin coating this wax provides lasts for quite some time and along with a coat of gun oil, I think it should help give good protection against rust and pitting of my guns finishes during extended storage. Since only a tiny bit of this wax is required, the small 65ml container it comes in should last for a long time.
Also for patina protection.

I bought this product to seal the patina on the jewelry I make. It's honestly hard to tell how well it works, but seems to do the job intended. The odor is somewhat strong (think shoe polish), but fades rather quickly. A little goes a long way and this is probably more than I will every use, I'm sure. But if I need to buy again, would buy this one again.
A must for collectors of all sorts.

This stuff is amazing for swords. I was having to dust mine off almost weekly until I used this wax. Now I'm close to six months and just a trickle of dust. It even took some tarnishing off a few swords and cleaned them up really well after getting dirty from photo shoots. It does have a strong smell so make sure a window is open and don't use a rag that will make lint. Mostly I love that a LITTLE bit goes a LONG way with this stuff. Might be years before I get through a whole bottle its so good. My mom even used it on a antique chest she bought and the wax brought it to life again.
Smells like gasoline. HEAVILY

Smells like gasoline. HEAVILY. And the smell lasts much longer than anticipated. Also not great for heavily detailed or woven wire projects (I make jewelry). The wax remains in all the nooks and crannies, so not very attractive.
Damascus Knife Lifesaver!
For Realz•March 11, 2015
Works great on Damascus knives to prevent corrosion. That was the main reason I bought this since Damascus is more prone to rust than other forms of Steel. I polished my other knives too and it brings out a beautiful shine! (See attached photo) I also used it on the exterior of my handgun as well. I have since used it on my guitars, some furniture, and tools. A little bit of it goes a long way too!
