Break in was not that bad. I wore them on a 7 day Caribu hunt in Alaska and they preformed great while walking miles through the soft, wet Tundra. The best hunting boot I've ever!

I have used the insulated version of these with great success. Over thought my needs and made a mistake buying a different brand. After multiple blisters and two black toenails, I purchased what I should have to begin with. The key to these boots is the wider toe box.
