This seems to work but needs to be reapplied frequently. I pet sit in my home and before a new male comes I spray all the upright surfaces they will have access to. I also use it outside for my patio furniture. I try to reapply daily while I have my furry friends are visiting. I did not try this product for potty training.

I have used this product and the anti-spraying cat spray and I am pleased with both...if they could combine the two and increase the potency it would be perfect. My cats are butt-heads and the boys will pee if they get a scent and the girls then pee as well and one spot becomes the thing. Each spray has it's advantages but a combo would be great!
My cat absolutely despises it, which is great, but the bottle itself leaves something to be desired.

Whenever we spray this on the couch, my cat absolutely despises it. Some times he'll try getting on the couch, but we see his nose acting up and he'll be off it in a few minutes. We have noticed he scratches the couch way less often which is great. The one complaint though is the bottle doesn't spray too well and we've noticed that the nozzle gets jammed quite easily, which is the only reason I docked a star. Overall though, this product is effective for our cat.
