I LOVE this feeder. It delivers feed easily, easy to clean, simple to fill, adjustable perches, most aany feed can be used, solidly built, held up in a huge wind storm, 6 feed bays... This is my second one.. (my first is still in use and still solid)....

We were disappointed with this feeder for several reasons. The top, round cover does not adequately shield from rain so water gets inside causing seed to stick together. This feeder does not hold as much seed so it needs to be filled more often. Although the engineering design of the interior baffles is a commendable idea, in reality, mine collected rain causing seed to stick inside. The seed openings are such that birds were able to flick seed out to the ground easier. We tried to fills of seed before my wife said to go back to our original feeder. Plastic rests for birds did not work as well for larger birds. Will be donating feeder to Salvation Army. Regret purchasing it. Not recommended.

I bought this feeder several years ago at a store and was sad when I couldn't find it again. I finally found it here on Amazon. I have them on shepard's hooks and squirrels have a hard time getting into them. Only smalls birds or upright birds can use it. Doves and pigeons can't use it. I have flocks of Nanday, Blue Crown and Quaker Conures that come all day long, every day. It's the best feeder I've found. The birds aren't the problem here for these feeders, it's the sun. I have two. My first one is about three years old and needs to be replaced because the plastic has gotten brittle. The second one is still doing good after a year.

Looks awesome in the pictures but it's flimsy. The little perches for the birds break off easily(if the squirrels don't chew them off first) The lid doesn't secure very well either so if you have squirrels, they can easily open the top and have a feast. I will be replacing this feeder with something more reliable.

I love this feeder. I hope the adjustable perches hold up since they are a little on the thin side. Since the perches are adjustable, the bully birds are kept away and can stay at their own feeder. This holds a lot of seed and has baffles inside that keep seed at all of the ports. It is plastic so make sure that you hang it where the squirrels can't reach it. I think the squirrels would have a field day and chew through this in record time if given the chance. There are six available ports, and I have had 6 birds on it at one time with others waiting their turn. I use 'no-waste' seed so there are a lot of small pieces. As a result, when I fill it, little seeds may fall out of the ports. I found that filling this while it is standing in a bucket will contain the pieces that fall out, and I don't waste any seed. Included are port covers in case you would like to use NIger seed. You can put the covers on just one or two or on all depending how you put in your seed. There is a cable through the middle for hanging. It appears to be very sturdy. An additional advantage is that this bird feeder can be opened in half to allow for easy cleaning.
