I bought this cover about a month ago. I looked at the reviews at Amazon and the F-150 sites. Amazon has great reviews. The F-150 sites did not have great reviews. I decided to pull the trigger and buy it. The worst I would be out $250.
After receiving it, I installed it literally in less than 10 minutes. It took longer getting it out of the box. The only thing that went wrong on the install was my fault. I did not line it up correctly, so it was on an angle. That was about a 3 minute fix.
I live in Seattle, so weather is an issue. I bought in the summer so I do not know how it will handle constant water. However, I have washed the truck a couple times in my driveway and at a carwash. Stayed very dry in the bed.
I purchased the cover because when we would go on trips, someone would have to hang at the truck to keep an eye on the goods in the back. This way it is out of site so not an easy pick and go.
I read that someone had trouble installing the cover. Plain and simple, if you have trouble installing this cover you should not be driving a truck.

I had no trouble with this order or product and I recommend it for anyone shopping for a good cargo solution. Now having the lock on the tailgate is not just frivolous, since there is a decent amount of security for the out-of-sight out of mind protection that the cover affords. We really should have gotten one earlier, it's a great addition to my work truck since I can leave gear in the bed at night and not worry about repacking for rain, leaves or snow.
The tri-fold is made with substantial vinyl, and quality painted metal bars. I noted that the bars are arched to make the rain runoff. Highway travel and the thing rides tight and right. It fastens just fine with the built in clips when riding with it folded up for tall cargo in the end. I installed it solo in about 15-minutes.
My one suggestion is putting wide caps on the ends of the threaded clamp rods because if you are not careful folding this, the threaded rods hang down and could puncture the vinyl. If you follow the directions and fold the clamps first they stay in place tucked up to the bar and it's not a problem, but hasty action by an unwitting friend or careless worker will poke a hole for sure.
Bought it for my 2013 F-150 long bed.

A good cover

This is a good bed cover for my 2011 F150 6.5' bed, but a couple minor things kept it from being a 5-star.
First, my truck has a thick gasket along the front rail of the bed (by the rear window). This gasket is so thick that the TonnoPro does not seem to be making a tight seal at this front edge, which is more a function of my truck bed and not a fault of the tonneau. That said, I can't say its completely waterproof until I get around to removing that thick gasket and maybe update this review.
With the cover, I feel that the material seems a little thinner than the Extang Trifecta I had on my previous truck. Also, this cover uses a screw-lever type clamp in the rear for quick release, where the Extang had a strong spring-lever clamp. With the TonnoPro, a few weeks after installing I noticed it had a lot of movement on the highway. I've had to check and retighten the TonnoPro screw-type clamps a couple times now, but they seem to be holding fine. This cover is about $100+ less than the Extang and I feel its a good value.

First tonneau cover rocks

First tonneau cover. Decided to purchase this on a friend's recommendation. It installs in minutes. Appears to be high quality for the price. Installed and stays put. They claim it improves gas mileage but I'm not able to confirm that one way or another. It does keep all my stuff dry. Just came back from a trip to Maine in blinding rain and only a few sprinkles found their way in to the bed of my 2012 Ford F-150. Nothing to concern myself with. I have pinched my fingers a few times between the metal screw rods and the clamps that attached the back flap to the rails of the bed when removing the back panel to access the bed of the truck. You need to remember to slide the clamps into the locking position and stowing the clamps before folding the cover towards your cab or you may damage the heavy gauge vinyl material with the screw that holds the clamp. The vinyl does bounce like a drum when driving at highway speeds but it's not anything that bothers me. If the back window of the cab is open it makes some noise but again, nothing that I personally find distasteful or bothersome. All in all, a good quality cover but one start short of five for the clamps and getting my fingers pinched while figuring them out.

***June 23, 2015 3 month update***** Love this top! Fuel economy has increased almost 1 full MPG. I consider that pretty significant. My truck went from 14.3 to 15.2mpg. 5 miles of my commute is on the interstate and maybe why it makes such a difference. Still looks like new, never had a leak, and the only time I can hear any wind noise is if I open the rear bed window on the truck when going down the highway and even that is minimal(I hear nothing opening driver window).*****
2010 F-150 day one review.
So I watched the installation video on YouTube. They claim 5 minutes . That may be a lie; I think it may be more around 3 minutes. It's that easy.
In the box: mine came with the cover, vinyl cleaner, a pair of gloves (no idea why), a battery operated light with Velcro, and weather stripping for the tailgate should I decide I want it(not required for top install, all weather stripping on top is pre installed).
The cover is very light and can truly be installed by one person with no issue. after unboxing it felt like I was finished before I started. My truck had ribbed plastic bed rail caps and that did not interfere with installation.
The fit and finish is very nice with a.perhaps the only minor complaint at the joints it puffs out a tiny bit on the sides ,but even that as complaint is reaching. The tailgate does rub the weather stripping on opening and closing which does have me worried about longevity.
Super impressed for now will see in a month or two.
