I started buying 'towel dispenser' paper towels went covid hit & regular paper towels were no where to be found! I've continued buying these to keep in my kitchen & bathroom, without a wall dispenser. I just open the stack & put them in the corner of my kitchen counter top (a civilized person could put them in a basket) - they are excellent for quick wiping down the counters, wiping a spill off the floor, or when I'm chopping veggies, I dump the rinsed produce on a couple of these to drip. Because out here in California, a roll of name brand paper towels is around $5.00!! Even the jumbo pack sizes are outrageous. I use the 'good stuff' for the weekly cleaning with the spray cleaner, etc. I used these little jobbies for my small jobbies and they're fab.

So why four stars? Because prior to this I'd purchased slightly more expensive white versions and they did a better job. These ones are too stiff, too cheap - you have to wet them carefully at the sink because otherwise water just rolls off them, they're similar to brown paper bags (albeit very thin brown paper bags). But I think i'm getting what I paid for - these are cheaper than other dispense-type p-towels and much less than towels on a roll. Next time I order, I'll spend a bit more & get the white ones. Overall, though, these do just what you expect - soak up spills, wipe up crud, just a tad ineffectively.

I use these several places, I have paper towels dispensers in my business that normally fit a slimmer towel and even though these are wider than Scott towels they still come out of the dispenser just fine. They just sit curved inside the bin.

I also use these as clean up for my screen printing business. They are more absorbent than regular rolls for ink and chemical cleanup.

These were originally purchased in 2020 when paper towel stock in local stores was depleted.
The interlocking towels bring the next one out ready to use. A proper dispenser would be ideal but is not necessary if these are arranged in a way that allows usable dispensing. The fact that individual sheets can be pulled quickly, that each sheet is not so large that one sheet gets wasted on small jobs, and that a thicker towel stack can be quickly built up by pulling more towels, helps to self-regulate the usage for each task. Thus, usage is typically much lower making these a cost effective option. Each sheet has the texture, absorbency and strength of paper towels from a typical public use towel dispenser. The cost and overall utility of these in the house, shop and garage have eliminated our use of paper towels on rolls from the grocery store.
