I wont use anything else!

Great work type, lint free, paper towels. I custom paint and restore furniture and these work great for cleaning up your work area, wiping down my furniture, i even use these to apply wood stain on some of my pieces since i refuse to use a brush and ruin one of my brushes. I also use these to wipe away excess paint or stain and dont have to worry about streaks or lint getting on my project. If these do such a great job at doing so many things for me and my place of business i cant imagine them not doing just as great things for any work place. I havent had one rip on me yet even after soaking it in water be so the durability is fantastic! Very useful towels no doubt!
I thought they worked great for that

I use them for cleaning in places where I want to toss after use (Cleaning the bathroom. or cleaning up oil or grease in the shop) They hold up better than paper towels, even when wet or with mineral spirits

My only complaint is that I get more than one when I am pulling from the box, with that in mind I gave just 4 stars.

With the problem of getting more than 1 towel when pulling fro the box, I will order the Wypall X60 roll next time and will order the holder that will fit the roll.
Wypall wipes vs Kimberly Clark rags
M&D✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 6, 2023
I have been using the Kimberly Clark Pro Grade disposable rags. I was going to reorder more until I saw the price was FORTY dollars a box (I see now they dropped to $34). That made me look elsewhere. While the ProGrade mentioned above is really good, they are not worth that much money. These Wypall (at less than $17 a box) rags are NOT as strong but they are larger per sheet. For all but the toughest shop jobs, these work just fine. They don't tear and fall apart, nor do they fail to wipe up spills. I'm keeping the rest of my KC rags for the most serious use only.
I would recommend these for general purpose shop use.
much less waste than paper towels

Because these are considerably tougher than paper towels, I can rinse them & re-use them multiple times; where I used to toss several paper towels every day, I average about one wypall every other day. Our first Wypall box -- the heavier X80 Wipers -- had half as many towels, and lasted a full year, whereas we were buying a roll of paper towels every week or two before that.

This box has twice the number of towels, though they are a little more lightweight. So far, they're just as durable -- I expect it will serve us for a couple of years.

Considering that Wypalls come in a cardboard box, and paper towels wrapped in plastic, that alone is a huge improvement. According to Kimberly-Clark, the towels contain up to 40% post-consumer waste -- and think about transporting 2 years' supply of paper towels by truck versus this compact box shipped by Amazon!

The only negative, these towels gain their toughness by the inclusion of propylene in their makeup. The propylene degrades when exposed to UV or heat, yielding aldehydes and carboxylic acids -- both low-impact organic compounds so far as I can tell, but I'm no expert.
we love the Wypall X60

In short, we love the Wypall X60.

We have used "Scott Rags in a box" for many years and finally talked to Kimberly Clark customer support (who also make the Scott) if they have a Wypall product that also comes in big rolls and same or better then the Scott Rags in a box, because we use a lot of rags and these lil boxes are not practical. They advised us towards the X60, so we ordered this box to test them before buying mega rolls. The X60 appears slightly thinner than "Scott Rags in a box" however, they absorb much better and are stronger when dry and much stronger than SRIAB when wet. Means, the X60 outperforms the SRIAB in any aspect (from cleaning to finishing applications) and we'll be buying mega rolls from now on.
