When these shoes arrived, I thought I wasted my money. I received two different sized shoes, made in two different countries. I thought I would just return them for a refund, but I tried on the one that fit and it felt really good on my foot. So I contacted the seller and they were quick to send a replacement pair. I appreciated them being so fast to respond to me.
First off, the fit is great. I wear a 9.5M, and they were about as true to size as it gets. The build quality of the shoes is good, I haven't had them very long but they seem durable. And the soles have alot of traction too. I don't know if that will change as they wear down a little, but right now they are very grippy, even walking on a smooth surface. I like these shoes alot, will probably buy a second pair down the road.

This is my 2nd pair - 1st ones had the pecan color. The sizing runs a bit small so I went with the 9.5 instead of 9, so they feel a tad long in the toe area but otherwise fit snugly. Couldn't resist on sale so I bought 2nd pair with different coloration. I always have trouble finding comfortable yet sturdy shoes. I've owned Merrel, Timberland and others, but found these to be most comfortable. And since the styling is a bit more dressed up than a typical hiker I can where them to work as well. I'm hoping they keep this shoe around so I can buy again next year. I posted 4 stars due to the slightly narrow sizing issue that bumped me up 1/2 size.

Best shoes I've ever owned. The material is high quality and doesn't show stains etc much. The polymer/rubber cross over on toes is pretty genius. Cross stiching on the shoe is perfect. Decently aggressive tread. Incredibly lightweight. originally got these because I saw SF/seals had used them in the famous raid. But, I didn't expect them to be this good. Years of use, the tread is still more than half there, i used them in order picking at my job for the last month. It does wear them slightly more, but just barely. They are so stable, rugged, and yet lightweight. Perfect all around shoe. I am just hoping by 5 star reviewing this I don't add to an eventual price increase. It's so much shoe for the money, and I want to be able to keep getting them around 80 in the future. I haven't tried any other Vasque products, but maybe this quality is there standard. Pretty amazing if so.

I have been wearing the Juxt model for a few years now. I reorder them every 4-6 months because they are such a great shoe for my feet. I need something with a very very supportive sole and shank, but with enough room in the toe box. These have been my favorites. Unfortunately, with the latest pair, the right shoe started hurting the ball of my right foot after a few days. I thought it must be some sort of movement activity that I was doing differently in my daily routine, so I tried to tough it out for a few weeks, but it got worse after a while. So i tried switching back to my old pair of Juxt for a few days and the pain went away. I have never had to break in any of these shoes before, so I surmise that I must have simply gotten a bad one this time. It's never happened to me before with these, so I guess I'll try to contact customer support and see if they can still help me, even though it has been more than a month since I bought them. So... In summary, I think the Juxt is a great rugged shoe (my favorite ever) but if you get one that doesn't feel good, be smart and contact them right away rather than waiting too long, like I did!

These are the only shoes I can pull out of the box on day one and wear whole day without any issues. No break in necessary. They last, and are very comfortable.
