This thing is terrible. It Ross when you wash it and the holes are so small even the smallest jalapeños fall over when you try to put them in. Great idea, terrible design and construction.
Cute find..
OkieMe•August 9, 2016
The shape is cute, the nonstick surface a nice touch, and you can't beat the price. Only issues I had were some of the jalapeños we have are too thin/short for the holes to hold them. Slightly shorter legs and a variety of different sized holes would have been perfect, as not all jalapeños are the same size. Also, while it was drying, water was trapped in the hinge of the 'feet' which caused some rust...just from overnight sitting. Doesn't hinder it's use, so I can look past that. All in all, cute find.
The coolest jalapeño cooker!

Bought this for my dad as a gift along with a jalapeño popper recipe book, I had a few options to choose from but this one was the coolest since it's shaped like a jalapeño! Definitely recommend, received in great condition and it looks like good quality.
Great product

Holds 22 medium size jalapeños match this with a good coring knife and you will be good to go. It folds flat or about 1.25 inches thick for storage so that is also a plus on an item that doesn't get everyday use. This is how I do it. Core the peppers boil em for a few minutes or the longer you do it the more spice it takes out of em. Take your cream cheese heat for 20 seconds mix in with crumpled bacon. Put it in a ziplock bag cut a small piece from one of the edges of the bag and squeeze into the pepper cavaties. In the oven for 15 mins or so at 300-350 degree. When the top of the cream cheese Browns slightly they are perfect IMO.
Works For Small Peppers -

I grow jalapeno peppers. Yeah, I know, your tummy can't handle hot foods. I clean and core the ripe peppers then roast them in the rack. Removing the core reduces the heat. Those that know - know. When jalapenos turn red, they get sweet. Now they get good. Sometimes I stuff them with a squirt of cheddar spray can cheese mixed with bacon bits, some shredded Monterey Jack or other shredded cheeses, other times just plain. My only complaint is the holes in the cooker are too small for any four inch or longer peppers as they are also larger in diameter.
