I love the Martha White Buttermilk cornbread because it is so much like my mother's homemade recipe. I live in a small town and the store here that used to carry it is going out of business. No other store around here carries it, so I was happy when I found it on Amazon. Bought two cases of it!

I have just found this cornbread! I have been searching for a cornbread mix that Did Not Sweeten the Cornbread! Thank you Martha White I made a double batch of this and it was wonderful. I am a real Southern Gal and I use Cornbread is stuffing, but I also like it with greens and beans and I don't always want to make it from scratch! So, this is a very nice addition to my home.

This is the old fashioned corn bread that I grew up with in West Virginia. Not the sweet cornbread that northerners like. Comes out great every time, especially if you grease the pan with Crisco first. Yum.
