Painless fix. Pull off the old vacuum breaker, screw on this one. Works flawlessly, and the dustcover cap is even the same color.

Ordered one to see if it worked and it did. Came with a silver cap and thread pattern worked. So I ordered a second for my other faucet. This one came with the brown plastic cap, it's a different size with a different thread pattern. So apparently when you click, "buy this product again" you're not necessarily getting the "same product."
