Quiet, but was hard to get on the rim

The tire looks cool on my green bike. It was really hard to get the bead to seat properly in the rim. It kept staying in too deep in one section. I saw on youtube that you can lube the bead and associated rim area with some soapy water and pressurize until the tire pops into place. it took 4 attempts but it did finally pop into place. Ironically, it popped in when I decided to leave it at somewhat high pressure and ignore it for a few hours to try again later. Much quieter than my old tire. It did have a little indentation from where it was strapped very tightly to the backer / tag it is sold on. I thought for sure this would affect the ride / noise. It doesn't. Once I inflated it to a decent pressure, that went away. It has not dented from where it sits on the roller when not in use either. Granted it is not sitting unused for more than a couple of days at a time.
but I bit the bullet and bought it along with the recommended Kenda Tube Bicycle Tire Tube (Schrader Valve

This was the first tire I've ever changed in my 4 years of riding :) ( Lucky me, I guess).
When I read the reviews, I was concerned, but I bit the bullet and bought it along with the recommended Kenda Tube Bicycle Tire Tube (Schrader Valve, 26x1-1.25) slightly smaller tube.
I was referring to the reviews here:

Honestly, I had no problems at all installing this tire and it held all its' air the first time ... Weeeeee!
Took me 1/2 hr. Really didn't take that much muscle - just a bit of determination, patience and logic.

So quiet!

So quiet compared to a street tire! Wear is negligible after a couple hundred miles.
Excellent Product, fit perfectly

Perfect Trainer Tire

I got a fluid trainer to keep in shape this winter. I started off with an old 1.25" road slick for my MTB. It worked fine but it squeaked like crazy. I started researching for ways to eliminate the annoying noise and everything came back to the need for a dedicated trainer tire. So I researched a few different brands (there are not many 26" trainer tires out there) and ended up choosing the Kinetic. What a remarkable difference this made. Now all I hear is the fluid and the flywheel. Now I can even train right after putting the kids to bed. I would recommend this tire to anyone, just remember that this is a directional tire!
