Nice chime - see notes if unsure of what the finish looks like in person

I've bought more that a couple windchimes over the years, and have been let down by most of them. Whether it's corrosion, rope issues, or just general fit-and-finish, I haven't had the best luck.
My first experience with Corinthian Bells windchimes came from buying a much larger item from a brick-and-mortar store. Aside from being quite a pricier than I was used to, it appeared to be well made, and it sounded great. I looked at some of the smaller versions in the same line, but they just didn't have the tone I was looking for a patio area at the house. I have nothing but great things to say about that windchime.
Naturally, I thought of Corinthian when it came time to get a smaller windchime for the side yard. While it doesn't have as rich a tone as the larger chime, it sounds well tuned and pleasant. It doesn't seem to get harsh or shrill when the striking force goes up. I got this chime in the copper finish, while my other one is in the black finish. The black looks like a flat or satin black powdercoat, which is great of Asian, mid-century, modern/contemporary motifs. The one I got this time is the copper, which looks like the speckled, hammered metal finish you get from one of those simulated finish aerosol cans at a hardware store. I bought this color because I'd already seen what the finish looked like when I was in the store last time - I don't know if I'd have been comfortable buying it without seeing it in person. The looks to be durable, but it's probably not for everyone.

Corinthian Bell chimes better than I expected!

I selected green (nice color). Love it. Want another. Not only are the tones rich, deep & body-resonating; a flute effect is produced when a soft breeze passes across the top of chime cylinders creating a sound like a Tibetan singing bowl or the resonant ringing produced from
running a finger around the rim of glass or crystal stemware. Note: in the video you'll see two chimes singing together; but,the green Corinthian Bells chimes are easy for the ear to pick out.

The chimes themselves are pretty great, and they produce high quality sound that is very pleasing. However, the sound is somewhat different from the short recordings that the company has on their website. The recordings perhaps produce a more subdued and more 'organized' sound of the tones themselves, most likely done in the studio setting, and this is not how these chimes sound in real life, with the wind blowing with less predictability and with some pipes sounding more often than the others. It leaves an impression of the recordings showing the 'enhanced' version of the sound and leaves a dent in my personal shopping experience. They still make good chimes, but I can't qualify my experience as 'excellent' as the integrity of communication about the product is tainted for me.
Beautiful sounding chime. You won't regret it!

I listened to tons of different wind chimes, but the sound of the Corinthian Bells kept drawing me back! Now that I've received them, I couldn't be happier with the purchase. They chime with little wind, and the sound they make is beautiful. There's no clanging noise like most chimes tend to make. It just sounds like lovely music! These are quite costly compared to other chimes, but I think they're well worth it. There's so much attention to detail in the design, from the sound they make to the way they're designed to chime with such small amounts of wind, it truly is just a superior chime when compared with other brands.
Super Awesome Quality

A gift for my sister. She totally loves them. It was purchased some time ago so it's finally time to leave a review. She has placed them right out front of her house with such pride and joy. Corinthian Bells are quality made chimes. Please understand that my sister is a complainer. Or so it seems. Always seems to have something crappy to say about everything. No complaints on this and nothing but love for the chimes. She and her husband have had nothing but positive things about the sounds coming from these chimes and how they have held up VS those other crappy chimes they have had in the past.
