Good taste - Lousy Mixing

Okay so this is my 1st purchase of this product.
The positive is that the taste (villnila) was better than I thought it would be. I am mixing it with 1% 20 oz of milk.
My big complaint is that it Does NOT mix well !
I even bought a new 24 oz shaker bottle with the beater. Even after shaking for at least a minute, it still wasn't full mix. Even tried stirring with a spoon first. Guess I'll have to experiment. I have no interest in dragging out the blender.
I can't give any results yet, only been using for a week. If I could, 5 stars on taste and 1 star for mixing.

excellent taste, needed something that would provide protein for my long distant running, this stuff hit a home run out of the park, WOW. Loved it. Take it 2 times, once after I finish with running, then prior to Bed time for total recover, Ran a 13 miler, and was afraid I wouldn't be able to go the next day (which is the day I am writing this review) and I'm ready to go for another long run, not as long but log in some miles for health....I run for m mental health./Military Service connected PTSD. This stuff is excellent protein.
High quality isolate is a must for me.

High quality isolate is a must for me. It's much easier on the stomach. I'm not the pickiest when it comes to flavor but this stuff is on point. I like to mix a little with my oatmeal and it works perfectly. Low sugar, isolate, not much to not like here. Something to keep in mind is that this has 30g of protein per scoop! Most proteins are in the low 20s and my go to protein for many years had only 21g per scoop. So this has nearly 50% more protein per scoop. Not bad. Overall you're getting good value gram for gram with this protein. Really can't go wrong.
Not 100% Isolate

Warning, this is NOT 100% whey isolate. The ingredients list the first ingredient as 97% whey protein isolate. This sounds just fine unless you know how food labels work. A manufacturer is required to list all ingredient of a product by order of abundance. With that being said, there are 8 ingredients in this power. The first two ingredients are: Whey Protein Plus Blend (which includes the 97% whey protein isolate) and whey protein concentrate. Now let's just assume that these two ingredients make up 99% of the overall product and the other 6 ingredients are negligible. That would mean that this manufacturer can make this product with 50% whey protein isolate, 49% concentrate, and 1% other ingredients.
Now maybe I am wrong and the manufacturer makes the product with 98% of the (97% whey isloate) and two percent of the other ingredients. However, the only reason I can assume the latter is that I am highly sensitive to whey protein concentrate. It took me awhile to finally pinpoint what was causing my stomach discomfort. Only after removing this product from my diet was I able to get relief.
Look, it's not the first time a company has tried to deceive its customers with sneaky labeling. Im willing to bet that this is just what is taking place at Six Star.

This is the best protein mix, hands down ... for price, flavor, and protein-to-calorie ratio. It dissolves better than the other powders I've used. I can only speak for the chocolate, which is terrific ... I'm not a fan of vanilla, no matter what brand name it is. This is the only protein mix I buy now ... I have had bariatric surgery, so I have to use a quality whey protein ... and this is it!
