The big jug lasts a long time. It's hard to say if Aerogarden-branded fertilizer works better, but given how much better their peat medium is for growing than diy alternatives, I suspect that their fertilizer is likewise customized for their system. We fill the Aerogarden with water from our fish tank, so the leafy greens get an additional nitrogen boost. The foliage is lush, and fruits come in well also.

A good value for AeroGarden enthusiasts. If the first bottle of nutrient ran out with your AeroGarden and you are still growing plants then this will be well worth the savings. Keep the little bottle and refill it using this larger container.

A more economical choice for my AeroGarden than buying the small three ounce bottles. Same excellent quality product but since the container is solid white plastic instead of clear, like the small bottles, it is important to thoroughly shake before measuring. I could see the separation between liquid and semi-solid components in the clear bottle. But, with this container all is concealed. So shake very well before each use.

This is great, saves me a ton of money over re-ordering the little bottle that came with my AeroGarden. I kept the original small bottle and refill it from this larger bottle, since the small bottle is easier to store near the garden. Now that I have this larger supply, I'm also using it for other house plants, and they love it too.
