I agree with the hot knife through butter review. I took at look at some of the bad reviews. It looks like some people are trying to fit this to a cheap trimmer that has a non-standard spindle. Make sure you trimmer has the correct arbor size before ordering.
The other complaint I see is that teeth break easily if you hit a rock or something. That's kind of the nature of carbide. It's brittle. I did quite a bit of trimming and only lost one tooth, which I believe happened when I tried to cut down a tree that was a little too large and it pinched the blade, I did a lot of yanking to get it out and I probably flexed one of the teeth too much doing that. Even with a tooth chipped it still runs fine and doesn't feel off balance or anything.

These work fantastic for cutting brush and small trees. I've smacked the blade against hard objects like concrete blocks ( by accident ) a couple of times and only a couple of the carbide teeth have come off. These are a huge time saver and work pretty good with my Dolmart weedeater.
These blades cut exceptionally well on all types of plants, tall grasses and brush.

These blades cut exceptionally well. I used it on all types of plants, tall grasses and brush and it cuts fast and clean. Saves me a lot of time instead of cutting by hand. I had tried a string trimmer but the grasses and some tall plants will just wrap themselves around the string trimmer and then I had to stop and clean it. Since installing this blade I can cut wide stands of tall grasses with any problems and nothing wraps around the end. Overall a really good means to trim far better than a string trimmer.

The blades fit my trimmer fine. I had some monster canada thistles to cut and multi floral rose and they cut through that no problem. I did notice after several hours of use that some of the carbide tips had come off and it was not cutting as well, but that was probably mostly due to accidentally running into rocks and steel fence posts. For the price, I could afford to just put a new blade on. Compared to the first replacement blade I bought at a local tractor/dealer/small engine supply, which cost close to $50 for one blade that dulled quicker.
