I have used Line 6 Guitar Port and the POD Farm software for a number of years and I am very happy with their products, the M5 is very solidly built and the quality is what you would expect from a Line 6 product, this is also a brilliant solution for a situation where an effect is required for a certain song as it saves you the expense of buying a dedicated effect pedal for that specific occasion or song. This pedal has mostly every effect one would require for most situations and is a great addition to any guitar player's arsenal.

Its handy, reasonable versatile, and seems to be well made. It gives you a lot of options. Some of them are not things that I would ever want to be associated with, though. The sound is a little underwhelming. You can tinker and fine tune, and get many distinctly different sounds, but I have yet to click onto a preset and think "Oh, that is the sound that I have been waiting for!"
