Fine for mild use

i wanted to replace a fantastic broom that i purchased from the same manufacturer many years earlier. I ordered this one. Sorry, good only for light work. I subsequently order the Wolf broom...now, finally, i got a broom that lives up to my expectation, that the least you will accept is the best you ever had.
The BEST Broom (far better than Libman)

I bought 2 different brooms for our new home - wanting one for upstairs and one for downstairs, and not really knowing which would be better. Hands down - this "O-Cedar Power Corner Large Angle Broom" was far BETTER than the "Libman Precision Angle Broom". They were both within $1 in price but the Libman broom feels small and stiff and is difficult to sweep a small room quickly, much less a large room. I had no idea there would be such a difference in the two brooms. I've included a photo and they both visually seem similar but the O-Cedar has more of an angle and it just seems to make sweeping fun versus the Libman - which really makes it a chore. The dustpan included with the Libman was an after thought and as you can tell from the photo, it's never been used in the 6 months I've been using both these brooms. The simple dustpan and hand broom (or hand vac) is much more efficient in picking up piles of dust and dog hair than using this broom and dustpan. Our new home floor is done entirely in travertine tile, so I've had lots of experience with both of these brooms as well as other floor cleaning tools.
Broke way too easily

Broke after a couple days. How? I simply tapped it moderately hard against my foot to get the lint off. The cheap metal in the handle buckled and now I have a curved broom.
Great broom! Sturdy and strong.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this broom but I have to say, it is the best broom I have owned so far to use inside my house. The line of bristles is narrower than I thought they would be, which actually makes the broom work better than my old one with a wider row of bristles. The handle and base are super sturdy. It gets into corners really well. It's a great broom!
Not Completely Pleased

I ordered this broom to replace my similar well worn broom. I have 2 cats, and use a broom every day to sweep litter, as well as to sweep our kitchen floor. I've had my last broom for years--it was nothing special, I got it from Walmart. Technically, it still works, but I wanted a brand new fresh and clean one.
To me, this O-Cedar appeared to be "high end" for a broom, due to the price. It also had good reviews. However, I am not completely pleased with it.
I've only used it lightly about three times, and there are now bristles sticking straight out on one end. My old broom that I've been using for years doesn't have that problem. The bottom part also doesn't seem very "strong"-- it doesn't sweep everything up without having to repeatedly go over and over, and it's actually sort of flimsy. It most definitely doesn't sweep as well as my old broom.
Even if this broom had been less expensive, I would feel the same way. I mean-- it's okay to use, just not great.
I would not buy this broom again, nor would I recommend it.
