I love these! I knit in the round a lot and these have been indispensable. I do wish they came with more of the cords, since I've pretty much worn out the 16" cord already. They have a lot of the larger cord, but I mostly make hats so the big ones aren't as necessary to me. The needles are very smooth and the connection to the cord doesn't catch, except that sometimes it does come unscrewed a bit and you have to screw it back together.

i just received this yesterday, so the 4 stars is based on the fact that I have used it in a limited way. I am just playing around with some unusual cotton T-shirt type fiber on the size 9 needles, 16" cable. So far, so good! Cable attached to needles easily and created a smooth join. Work slides easily and the needles are light and comfortable. I got this through amazon warehouse deals for only 79.00. Everything was in perfect condition, so check the warehouse deals if you've been holding off because of the price.Looking forward lots of happy knitting.

I bought these because my yarn was really slippery and I kept dropping stitches on my metal ones. With these Clover bamboo needles, they no longer slip off my needles but they are smooth enough to make knitting easy. After I transferred my stitches to these needles, I no longer had mistakes. These come with various sizes and cord lengths. I am super happy with my purchase and I got them at a really good price from UK Tailored. I would highly recommend getting these.

This bamboo needle set comes with five cord lengths (16-inch, 24-inch, 29-inch, 36-inch, and 48-inch) and twelve widths for the needle tips (from US 3/3.25 mm up to US 15/10.0 mm). You screw the needle tips to the cords to join them, creating the total length that is needed for the project.

So far I had one of the joins loosen slightly only once, and that was because I hadn't tightened it all the way, so having the needle tip disconnect from the cord is not an issue for me. I decided to purchase this set over others like it because it included the length that I needed to use to make hats (the 16-inch), and because of the range of needle sizes it included (I typically use medium to bulky yarns). The zipper case is very convenient to hold all the pieces of the set.

Clover now manufactures the needle tips and cords individually, in case you want to start on a second project that calls for the same size needles and/or cord length without having to remove a current one off of the needles, or in case you lose (or somehow damage) a cord or a pair of needle tips. Clover also sells a connector to join two different length cords to make a new length if you need an odd length not included in the set, and also sell stoppers to put at the end of the cords if you need to use the cord to hold the stitches separately from the needle tips.

I'm really happy with this knitting set. I wish clover introduces a double pointed knitting needle set too like this so. It's a complete package. The needles are very fine and smooth, whereas ends are not too sharp. Cord lengths are great too. I'm a fairly new knitter.. It's been couple of months I have started knitted and I'm really happy with my purchase. The only reason I gave it a four star is that I need to Check after every couple of rows if the needle is loose and cord is coming out of it. And I do need to tight it couple of times in the middle of my projects. That's a bit annoying to keep a check on it but other than that I would recommend this set for knitting.
