This Product was exactly the Quality and Value I was hoping for! This will be loved by all that sees it! Especially my Grand-Children even though Grandma (me) has always wanted one! Perfectly made replica of the real old style gumball machine!

Bought this for my son's room (he is 11) it is perfect and I modified it to dispense large gum balls. Lots of You Tube videos out there to show you how to use it for many different things. Keep all the parts for future use. Well made and sturdy

This is what my five year old wanted for Christmas 2016. He saw an old one in his late great grandmother's house and was amazed people could have gumball machines in their own house. Many reviews said the glass seems a bit fragile and to be careful placing the gumballs in. Well, we were careful... but fast forward four months and our 2 year old accidentally knocked it over, where it crashed onto a thin carpet floor. The glass globe was knocked crooked and had a one inch long crack in it. I emptied out the gumballs (some of which chipped their color) and felt the inside the glass where the crack was... and it was smooth. Somehow it cracked *inside* the glass only. So I put the gumball machine back together with the crack facing the back and all was well! I'd imagine if it had hit a harder flooring it would break, but it survived on carpet that's kind of old and has little to no padding underneath.

Luckily, the novelty of the chewing gumballs has worn off (we left it set to use coins, so he couldn't just get gumballs all day long) but he still loves it. He attaches balloons to it, puts a baseball cap on it, shows everyone who comes to visit and is generally pretty protective of it. This was a great present that'll last a lifetime and will be a great piece for him to display when he's grown up.

I really wanted to like this product. It's exactly what I was looking for, and in most areas is excellent. The large model is supposed to handle 1" gumballs - it does, but it only works intermittently and jams after a dispensing a few. Then you have to take the whole thing apart to clear the jam. It works fine if you only have a few gumballs in the glass holder, but if you fill past 1/8 or so full, the weight of the gumballs makes the flimsy gearing slip and not feed. A real bummer for an excited 5 year old. I returned the first one, and I'm sure the company would have taken the second back as well, but by this time I'm too annoyed and will just try to create a more rugged gear sometime, possibly with a 3D printer. Maybe this will work fine with 1/2 inch gumballs, so I would buy those 1st.

This is a well made, nice gumball machine. It was easy to assemble & is very sturdy. It looks nice in my art room! Grandkids love it!
