I give it 5 stars because it was made to fit the feeder so that it can be pole mounted. If it didn't work they shouldn't be in business.
Buy this if you are going to put the feeder on a pole.

If you want to put the Wild Bill's 12 Station Bird Feeder on a pole, you need to buy this also along with the Feeder. I don't believe the 12 Station Squirrel Proof bird feeder ad states this. It was the piece we needed to put the feeder on a pole. Works well.

Squirrels are now ground feeders. Holds so much food that it needs to be pole mounted for sure but definitely keeps squirrels off and seed lasts much longer.
Adapter makes it easy.
