I love this product

I love this product. I used to wear it for gymnastics after injuring the TFCC in both wrists. I just ordered a new one to see if it would help with the tendonitis and leftover TFCC pain in my writing/dominant hand, which is irritated by college cheerleading and everyday tasks like writing. It is working great. I've been wearing it most all day and night, not tight just snug. I don't get the little bits of pain in everyday tasks, and it actually feels better/stronger when I take the wristwidget off too. The product came with instructions, and even had tape covering the velcro. It's a little bit stiff at first. It does dry quickly after sweating/working out in it, it was dry less than 2 hours after I soaked it. Overall, a great product. Highly recommend.
Small Miracles

My Occupational Therapist recommended I purchase this as an aid while I recover from a broken wrist (non-displaced radial fracture), sprained TFCC, and partially-torn scapholunate ligament. Soft tissues take much longer than bones to heal, so although my bone has healed, my TFCC sprain and partially torn scapholunate ligament have been a huge issue (It's been 3 months since my accident). After 6 weeks, when the bone healed, this was recommended to me so that I could bear weight on the wrist. It's incredible: This "device" is so small, but it makes a massive difference! Minor movements that I couldn't do, I was able to do. About 2 months after the injury I was able to place about 50-75% of my weight on wrist on all fours for exercises like cat-cow and rear leg extensions. Now three months out, with the widget, I'm able to do 30 minutes of yoga including downward dog and chatarunga dondasana. It's been a huge help! I will forever recommend and swear by this. It's so worth it.
and that did pretty much nothing

Had a wrist injury from weightlifting that just wasn't going away. Bought a basic compression strap at first, which was really just an elastic band with velcro on it, and that did pretty much nothing. After several weeks of mild pain on the ulnar side, I decided to get this.
The support I felt was immediate. This item is different from cheaper wrist supports in that the two "arms" wrap AROUND the bump on the outside of the wrist instead of OVER it (forgive the lack of medical terminology...just down at your wrist and you'll know what you mean). This allows for a band of support to be felt between that bone and the wrist itself. If this is where your pain is, then this item will work miracles.

I highly recommend this- I have had everything from shots to surgery and as many can attest to, it never really seems to work. This adds great support, and I really have tried so many others. This wasnt overly confining- like ones that are like gloves and/or go too high up the forearms, It honestly surprised me how much it relived the pain. It supports the weak spots without limiting motion too much. I am an industry chef and always worked with a lot of abuse to my wrists through work, gym, and recreational activities- I felt untimely old at how much wrist pain I had and frankly weak- unable to do simple activities without grabbing my wrist afterwards as it ached and pained me. This has helps significanly when there are especially bad days or when I am doing something that I know will be demanding on the wrist. I honestly thought that maybe paddle boarding and biking were things I would have to give up, but I'm super happy with these.
I kinda wish they came in different materials- it's not that it's cheap, but that it really helps and I would like more options in colors and materials. Imagine a leather like strap for example that looks less therapeutic and slightly more fashionable or just better quality in terms of material. I'd be a life long customer and advocate. Waterproof options perhaps?? Shoot I wish I had patented this, I would be cranking out more of an expansive product line. I'm throwing that out into the universe :)
If you have been struggling with the wrist pain, or want to support your wrist during exercise even if that damage hasn't been done already, I would so this is going to help. It's not often you order something and are impressed. It's fairly simple, but impactful.

Simple idea, works tremendously.

Simple idea, works tremendously. Tore my tfcc, couldnt bear weight on it or if palm up, lift anything, Came across this, works SO much better than a standard splint type brace for the wrist - but for this issue specifically. Do the weight bearing test if you haven't actually been diagnosed to see if this is the right one for you. Hurts a bit to pay $30 for a simple product, but that's how it goes. Soft enough to wear during Brazilian jiu jitsu practice too without worrying about it hitting others (not competition legal though) and still allows for hand mobility so you can type or do mostly any activity. Highly recommend it.
