Heavy, appears to be high quality.

Purchased this for our new farmhouse. wanted something that would keep up the pressure while someone flushes the toilet, this sure does the trick! A bit expensive but in our case worth it so far- one week use.

I guess the shipping issues that some people had with the tank getting dented have been resolved. The way this thing was packaged, I can't imagine that happening. I had an old waterlogged tank and this was a direct replacement. I'd give the removal process of the old tank negative stars, but I digress. This tank is top quality, would buy again.
Great product but horrible packaging

Great product! BUT, be prepared for it to arrive dented. I replaced two tanks and both arrived with multiple dents. Amazon was great giving me some money back but would rather of had no damage to the item.
Well made

Replaced a very old identical tank. Wanted to replace the old tank (about 20 years) before it failed. Note that the old one had held a constant air chamber pressure for over 10 years without having to add air. I would call that a good design.
Slight dent in base but still a good product

Exact duplicate of original tank. This may have been a "second" tank because the base had a four inch section that was dented. It looked like it had been painted that way because the paint had not been crinkled. The dent did not make any noticeable difference on the tank sitting on the floor. Plumbing hook up was easy and with the tank already pressurized to 40 psi, it was a simple turn on the power switch and it was good to go.
