This is a nice mattress, however it is actually 15 x 31 1/2 instead of 15 x 33. When I put it in our cradle and saw that it was too short (you can see about an inch of the cradle bottom on both ends) I measured it with a tape measure. I tried to contact the company to see if this one was a mistake, I was told that they are standard size and asked "was I sure that it was too short?". Like they thought I couldn't see the bottom of the cradle and that I couldn't read a tape measure. I will still use the mattress but I have to put a rolled up cradle sheet at the end of it.

I needed a mattress to fit an antique cradle we were using. This mattress fit it perfectly and we use queen pillowcases as sheets. It is super lightweight and the outside covering is so easy to clean if baby's diaper leaks, just use a wipe and let it air dry. Other people have complained that the mattress is noisy but we haven't noticed or been bothered by that.

We looked far and wide for a mattress that would work with my family's cradle and this was perfect. It fit perfectly and it's thick enough and firm enough for our infant. And if you're looking for sheets to fit it, the cradle sheets at Babies R Us work great.

We wanted to let our son sleep in the cradle that I used when I was little. When we got the cradle back from other family members who had used it, there was no mattress with it. This size mattress was only available at Babies 'R' Us in an oval shape, which wouldn't work for my cradle so I am glad I found it on Amazon. Our son has been sleeping on it for 3 months and it is holding up just fine. My only complaint is about the way it came packaged. The mattress is about 1 1/2" thick. It came in a gigantic box with the mattress fitting perfectly in the bottom and then filled with paper. One could have put probably 10 more mattresses in that box! Could there be a less wasteful way to ship this?
