This broom is fabulous, I only wish it was stay attached to the handle better. I am thinking gorilla glue may do the trick to keep it together. I saw this broom at my hair dresser's place and was amazed at how well it worked with hair on carpeting and tiled floor. Bought this because of the cat hair that seems to build up overnight at my place. Really do love the broom, just wanted it to stay together better :D. I do recommend it.
not for use on carpet

based on my experience using it on carpet, I would give this zero stars if possible. I'm assuming that it would perform much better on wood, ceramic or vinyl flooring. In order to pick up dog hair from carpet you need to apply a little pressure back and forth but as soon as you do, the head comes right off of the handle. It happened so many times in the first few minutes that I ended up on my hands and knees using just the rubber part to gather the hair. I do not recommend this for carpet use at all. I am going to buy a strong adhesive and try to glue the head onto the handle to see if that helps.

This thing is amazing. It requires some strength and patience but it pays off. It gets fur and hair that you could never get with a vacuum.
Everyone needs to throw out their old broom!

We have two dogs. Two very large dogs. Acting as a broom on hard floors, I can't believe I've ever swept with anything else. I haven't touched my old broom since.
However, It's not as successful for me on our carpet. We however have a very high pile carpet so that might be the problem. Works great on our throw rugs though.
