This is the third Cap-Tel phone I have set up for elderly relatives that are hard of hearing. These are wonderful phones - a little tech support for the first few weeks to acclimate and my 80+ relatives are back to chatting the afternoon away. Between the louder than average volume control and the onscreen display it has made a world of difference. So true that it's the little things that make the biggest differences.

Really really wonderful product!! Takes some time to set it up, so if you're not too adept at electronic gadgets, grab a grandkid, they'll have you up and running in no time. It has to be registered to operate and it requires an internet connection, so it's not a plug-and-go if that's what you are expecting, but once set up it is a great product! Not necessarily just for those who can't hear well, but for those that struggle to understand the conversation over a telephone.

Easy to set up, works thru a range extender hard wired. My mother's hearing is so poor that even with two hearing aids, some days she is unable to hear at all. This device is life changing.

I absolutely love this telephone. It was so easy to set up and connect to WIFI. All of the directions for using it are clear and concise. I would recommend this to anyone who has a problem hearing because it prints out the conversation very clearly while you are talking, and if you are unclear about something the caller says - you can address it with them.

Bought this for my mother in-law, installation was easy. Phone works reasonably well translating most of the words in a few seconds. It is like talking to an astronaut as there is a slight delay in the translation. But compared to repeating everything six times. It is a good device. We are going to buy a second phone for a different location in the house.
