Hi, I was having trouble with my old AT&T phone, which I had for several years. I really liked my phone and wanted to just replace it. So, I went to the store to see about getting a similar one. I was surprised to find out that the store didn't have it anymore. They had some other cheaper one's that I've never heard of before. Also most of them had several extra handset's that I don't need. When I went to look on amazon, I found exactly what I was looking for. It's very similar to my previous one and has one additional handset which is what I wanted. It was easy to hook up and it works perfectly. The sound is very clear and loud enough for me. The answering machine part works perfectly as well and I don't miss a call. The numbers are big and light up. I'm very satisfied with my new AT&T phone Answering System. Thanks!

We've had these phones for only about 1.5 weeks and so far we are very pleased with them. These replaced our old phones which were a different brand but got to the point that the battery wasn't charging. We like the large display on the phone to check caller ID or the number we're dialing. We're in our mid 50's (me) to early 60's (hubby), so having the larger display is great. I like that the message indicator, play, and delete buttons are easy to see and use. Though I wasn't sure we would like having another unit where the phone stands up like this (like the last one), this model seems more stable that our last set. For the price, you couldn't ask for anything better. We're moving soon and our new house is a bit more spread out than this one, so we'll be adding more handsets so we're not having to run to the phone. Though it does seem that most of the calls we receive on the house phone these days are from annoying telemarketers, so maybe we should save money and not buy additional handsets. lol Overall, this has been a great phone system so far and I highly recommend it.

Edit: 11/9/17: we've been using this phone system for about 5 months. The only issue we've discovered is the volume when using speakerphone. It's terrible. We can hardly hear the person we're talking to. So now that's a major negative.

Wow, this is the best wireless phone system I've ever owned. Amazing range. I can walk clear across our yard, no static. We only have one wired phone jack at our house so this is perfect. I now have one in our bedroom and one out in our cottage on the same property. That phone is over 100' away and a totally separate building; works perfectly. Also great features like being able to use the phones as intercoms calling either of the other units. I also love the vocalized caller ID. This is handy if someone calls and I am not wearing my glasses. You can add phone numbers to your phone book from any unit and retrieve voicemail when away from home. This comes with 3 phones but the system can handle up to 12 (sold separately). Very happy!

I bought this with 3 handsets and then bought a spare for my 98 year old father. I have an older model without all the features of this set and it has worked great for us. We have 7 handsets for our system, but my Dad's house is much smaller than mine. The features my Dad liked the best were: 1. Speed dial - I programmed all the family members with speed dial and since my Dad's hands aren't quite as steady as they once were, this is a feature he appreciated very much. 2. Quiet timer - Dad goes to bed very early and gets up very early and he used to get phone calls after he was in bed. He now sets the timer to take messages but not ring, so he doesn't have to contend with late callers. 3. Big back lit numbers - his vision is not the best and his hands are a little shaky, so having the big numbers is very helpful for him. 4. Loud Ringer - he used to miss calls with his old phone system because he couldn't set the ringer loud enough. He has no problem hearing these handsets.

I bought these for my mom's house because the old Panasonic set that she had had seen better days. They were about 10 yrs old & she has a hard time reading or seeing anything on a screen and the screen on them had gotten dark &"frosty" looking from years of usage & carrying them in her pockets, jackets & places like that. I looked at the reviews of several types of phones and these got the best rating. I now understand why!! I also saw these hooked up at my local Walmart & was very surprised at the size & clarity of the screen. Mom is 88 and she is very very happy at how clear the sound is, how clear the screen is & the illuminated numbers are a BIG PLUS for her. The base phone is very simple & well lit for her usage plus the screen is set at an angle and is a LOT EASIER for her to see who is calling. All in All these AT&T phones are a whole lot better that her older set. I would definitely recommend these to family & friends. I also bought a "2 Pack" Accessory Handset so that she could have them at all the places that she sits or works at. They are equally as good as the 3 that are with the base set and pairing them was east too!!!
