Seating the bead

Not impressed with the quality but they will have to do...not much out there
For all those having problems seating the bead ..getting air in them....this is tge trick
Take or borrow 2 ratchet tie downs and put one around the edge of the tread on each side and tighten them up ....this will push the bead outward to the rim allowing a blast of air to seat them make sure to remove the valve so air goes on faster.
After you get just enough seat let all the air out and then release you straps
Walla...done

Perfect replacement tires for my lawn tractor. I previously had the Turf Saver type tire however I have more grade on my lawn necessitating a slightly more aggressive tread. These were for the front maintaining the turning capability on grade which the Turf Savers do not. You need tire spoons to remove and install using ample amounts liquid soap. I did these myself and took a careful 2 hours for two.

Nice hefty 4 ply tires. Original brand, Carlisle that John Deere put on lawn tractor when new except I moved up from Turf Saver to Turf Master tires. Turf Master are a better quality, better traction, longer lasting and more puncture resistant to thorns, etc. than Turf Saver. Are made in China which hurts me to buy, but no one is making this size in USA. Stay away from off branded, no name Chinese junk tires. Highly recommend these!
Good quality tire, though it is shipped tightly banded and thus very squashed. I would ship tires this way to a person I hate.

Solid quality tire. Installed as easy as one would expect a lawnmower tire to when using a couple of screwdrivers. It stays up and holds air with no issues so far. I'll probably pick up another soon. It DOES come banded and squashed. I'm deducting a star because it is an incredibly ignorant way to ship a tire. I didn't have any issues inflating mine, but I can certainly see why some people do.
