Nice enough rollator. And compared to local Surgical supply stores a real bargain. Takes less than 10 minutes to put together. The biggest difference in this and a walker is that the back wheels are much closer together than those of just a regular walker. Making it more difficult for people that already have a hard time walking, and or tripping and falling. And although easy enough to put together. The brakes on this will definitely have to be adjusted after you put this together. There is a video on YouTube just for tightening the brakes. Lastly, right after I ordered this it was determined my father needed a wheelchair versus a rollator. Amazon has a no return policy on this item. Which either I missed when ordering this, or it wasn't posted. Even though I tried to return it within 48 hours. So bear that in mind. If you order it, plan on keeping it. They will not let you return it. So everything you buy from Amazon is NOT returnable.
Fantastic Folding Rollator Walker

The Hugo Elite Rollator Folding Walker is fantastic! I suffered a hip injury and the doctor recommended a walker instead of a cane. Using the Hugo Elite Rollator Folding Walker, I can walk faster, stand up straighter and achieve much better balance than I did with my cane. It also has some very nice features:

"¢ It is sturdy, easy to push around, turns easily and brakes securely.

"¢ It has extra Large 8 inch wheels give you reliable stability for more confidence and security when walking indoors or outdoors.

"¢ It has a 2-inch height adjustable built-in seat with backrest that provides a perfect place to sit and rest, includes a convenient under seat storage bag and additional saddle bag.

"¢ It has height adjustable handle bars for proper posture and ergonomic hand grips which place your hands at a natural angle for comfort and better brake access.

"¢ Tool-free assembly makes the Hugo Elite Rollator Folding Walker quick and easy to set up, simple to fold down and fits into most car trunks. I quickly assembled mine in the lobby of my apartment building.

"¢ It is designed to support adults up to 300 lbs. and well suited for those that have conditions that compromise balance

Folding and opening the Hugo Elite Rollator Folding Walker is very simple and easy.
To fold it up:
1. Push down on the brake handles to lock the rear wheels.
2. Reach into the seat and Pull up on the folding strap.
3. The Hugo Elite Rollator Folding Walker is lightweight. So, after folding, it is easy to pick up and put into a car or another storage space.
Note: When folded, the Hugo locks forward so that it won't open up on you when you lift it up.

To unfold it:
1. Put your left hand on the left handle.
2. pull out on the red folding lock with your right hand.
3. Push down on both handles to open it up
4. Press down on the folding brackets to make sure that it is fully open.
5. It is then ready to roll.

I am happy with this walker and I would recommend it to others.
Awkward and unstable when folded// defect (damage?) in knob for handle height after minimal usage

I bought this model in Nov 2014 and have used it literally twice. It's mostly because I'm young and in denial of needing it, but I put it into my car this past weekend b/c I was heading to a full day of walking around and knew I'd been in pain lately. There is one defect issue already, even though I have used it very little: one of the threaded screw knobs that hold the handles at the right height is either missing some internal part, or it is broken already. The screw goes into a cylinder that has holes to keep the stem of the handle at the correct height, but there is literally nothing for it to screw into. Also, there is a ridged/toothed part that should match up at the head of the screw--and this doesn't interlock correctly either--consequently--that handle is loose and insecure, so it forces me to walk with much more strain to hold the walker straight. I will be looking for a replacement part, which I wouldn't have expected to do with so little usage.
The other issue is how awkward this is to fold up. It is tricky to get it to collapse for transport in a trunk. AND, once it is folded, the front wheels are now at a totally different height than the back wheels, and you can't move it at all by rolling it--and it LITERALLY wants to TIP over. You must pick it up, and it doesn't easily stay closed either. So, carrying up to my first floor apartment when I don't want it in my trunk is very difficult for someone like me, with knee/ balance problems, who needs to hold a hand railing going up stairs (and, it fills the entire trunk of my Mazda 3 hatchback--and I need to loosen the handles, to make them shorter to even get it to fit, so I don't always have the ability to just leave it in my car. I also haven't used it much because of these difficulties--though now that it is in my car, I hope to get walking a bit more--it did help with tolerating being on my feet for long stretches this past weekend, and the seat is comfy and undersea storage area quite roomy.)
Excellent mobility device, very pleased

This Hugo Elite Rollator Walker is one of those things that you think you don't need, then once having it, realize you needed it all along! At least that has been the case for me. Despite the vocal opinions of well-meaning family and friends, I continued on with my cane/s, happily, saying that I don't need a walker except for hospital recovery. And then came the latest hospitalization, with a major vacation planned just 5 weeks away, and I decided to get a walker "for the vacation". The walker arrived 20 hours after ordering it! Just in time for coming home from hospital. And guess what? I am SO glad I got it, and yes, I need it! I always saw a walker as taking away from my mobility rather than adding to it, but this will undoubtedly be adding both quantity and quality to the times I am able to be out and about.

Now, to this model walker specifically. As a big, tall woman, I was concerned the seat would be too narrow for comfort. It is not. While my body does touch the frame, it is not uncomfortable, and does not "squeeze" me. That was my biggest concern, now alleviated. The walker is extremely sturdy and stable. Everything about it speaks quality: from the large 8" wheels that are about 1.5" wide, to the aluminum tubing, brake mechanisms, reflectors on the handgrips, curshion handgrips, ergonomic styling. This walker just glides along ever so smoothly.

Brakes are easy to set, lock, use, and release, and it doesn't take a lot of pressure to do so. I am 5'10" and the handles are plenty high for me and have a bit more adjustment left - I also use them a bit higher than most might, so I would think a person up to 6'3" or so would be comfortable as well. There is a lot of room in the underseat storage, which also has two end pockets. The saddlebag is adequate, and could carry a jacket and folding cane. The backside as several pockets for phone, wallet, etc.

One thing needs noting: Assemby is more involved than the Product Page indicates. It took my son-in-law over an hour to put it togerther, and a couple of double-checks and figuring out along the way. I am not sure I could have done it on my own if he had not been here, and usually I have no problem assembling furniture and equipment. So, just be aware of that, and have someone available to assemble this if the person receiving it cannot.

Update: April 5, 2017
Some reviews have mentioned folding issues. Since I use public transit, and family has a pickup, I did not address this in prior post. During vacation, we used Uber, and the walker was a problem. Four of the twelve vehicles used had a problem fitting the walk in (while folded) -- two to the point of almost needing to cancel and call another car. (There were four people as well as the walker). Even one of the six "XL Uber" cars had a problem in the back with it. Also, on the third day, problems arose trying to unlock it from the folding position. We learned to push it more closed, then the knob worked. It almost always took two people to fold and unfold -- though by the end of vacation my son in law had the routine down pretty good.

Overall, my review remains five stars and very positive. I can walk faster, farther, and more confidently with this walker. During loooong days at theme parks, I walked over five miles a day, and was able to provide my own seat to sit anywhere needed, instead of using up energy looking for a place to sit. Because of the walker, I could keep up with the family, and not slow them down, which if I had taken just my cane, would have been the case.
Very happy with this rollator

Excellent rollator! This was my first rollator purchase and I am very happy with it. With the extenders removed the seat is just the right height for a 5'2" person. Wheels around easily over floors, pavement, grass, and through mud! It also has a comfortable seat, and very spacious storage. There are actually more pockets than shown in the product pictures (photo attached). I also attached a photo of the under-seat storage - there are two zippered compartments on the sides, but the main compartment does not zipper shut. I thought that would be a negative at first, but it was actually a benefit as it allowed for easy access throughout the day to items stored there. The storage was actually very important to me - I am a photographer, and there's enough room for ALL of my equipment! This wonderful rollator has given me back the ability to do photography at all - I had recently become unable to manage walking around with the weight of my equipment in a backpack with just my cane, and this was the perfect solution to that problem.

There are only a few drawbacks in my opinion: One is that it was not easy to assemble. I managed to do it on my own, but it was difficult. I don't think someone with weak hands would be able to put it together without help. The other is that when folded, there's nothing to keep it folded, which makes it more difficult to carry and put in/take out of a car. I also expected this to be able to fit in the trunk of my car (full-size sedan), but it did not (it does fit in the backseat though).

One word of caution: After taking this on several metro trips I discovered that even with the breaks on it WILL still slide across the floor when the train is moving! So be careful to park it in a secure location on a train (or bus), or have someone hold on to it to make sure it doesn't slide.
