For the price, this really doesn't live up to expectations. The soft close is great, I can't believe Duravit even makes hinges that are not soft close anymore. The problem with this unit is that the hinges seem to slide too easily against the highly polished porcelain causing the lid to become crooked. What was once a beautiful looking fixture becomes some impoverished IKEA looking thing.
