Good alternative for more expensive gift boxes - decorate these yourself!

These are a great alternative to the shinier (and more expensive) gift boxes. I used these last Christmas and again on special occasions this year and decorated them with a choice of glitter, stars, ribbon, etc., to make unique gift boxes without having to actually wrap them in paper. They are a perfect size for a bracelet and earrings, and I also used them for single strand necklaces that I gave as gifts. Good alternative to spending money on higher end boxes that will be discarded as soon as the present is given.

Nice, sturdy boxes. I love that they include a little cotton pad in each one. I'm using these as gift boxes for glass tubes of bath salts. I've already made 2 sets, and I was even able to write a description of each scent on the inside of the box lid. My glass tubes are 4.7 inches long, and 4 tubes fit comfortably in 1 box.
